With the introduction of the Maschine MK2 and Maschine Mikro MK2, Maschine become a lot more colorful. In Maschine 1.8, you can change the color of groups, scenes, and samples to one of 16 colors including the original orange. To change the color of a group, right click on the group. Then go down to the color option and choose what color that you would like to use. Once selected, you’ll notice that the sounds in the group and all of the group’s patterns in the scene section update to reflect that color change. You can change the color of a single sample by repeating the procedure. You can also do the same for a scene. If you want Maschine to change how Maschine automatically assigns colors to the different elements, open the preferences and then go to the Colors tab.
