The iOS news just keeps coming with this morning’s release of djay 2 from Algoriddim. The main features of the app include a completely redesigned user interface, parallel waveforms, and beatgrids. As a user of the previous version of djay, it looks like this update brings the app in line with some of the other newer DJ iOS apps. More competition in the DJ software space, whether its for mobile devices or computers, can only be a good thing. As long as all of the major players continue to push the envelope further in their respective apps, the users will continue to benefit from the software innovation.

There are separate iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad versions of the app sold exclusively on the App Store. djay 2 is currently on sale for 50% off for the first week only, so buy it soon if you want to save some dough.
