TheDJPodcast.com has used multiple website templates over the last five years. Today I am happy to announce that we are changing our website design once again. Like our previous design changes, all of our content is still in place and only the design has changed. Going into this design process I focused on making the user experience as simple and intuitive as possible. Best of all, the design can be customized to add additional features later on. Along with the new design I have started offering additional services which you can read about below.

What’s new?

Responsive design: This design is built off of Bootstrap, a framework for building websites that scale no matter what device you are using to browse the web. You will enjoy the same experience whether you are visiting us on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.

New Filters: With the number of video tutorials on our site, it can be difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. We have now implemented new filters for every post divided into 2 categories: focus and software. These filters show up on each post as well as our new Tutorial Archives, and make it easy to search for tutorials on software like Cross DJ or a focus like Music Production. Additional filters will be added over time as new video tutorials are posted. An example of the new filters is shown below.

Course Catalog: I have heard from many viewers recently that structured compilations of tutorials would be helpful. Previously you would have to navigate through our past video tutorials on your own. Our new Course Catalog now features our current and future course offerings. We will be adding more free and paid courses over time.

Personal DJ Training: I am very excited to start offering personal training via Google Helpouts. Sessions can cover whatever aspect of DJing you are struggling with and are perfect for getting more comprehensive help. To sign up for a session, sign in to Google Helpouts with your Google account and pick a time that is convenient for you. If there are no times that are listed, or none that fit your schedule, click “Request a Time” and we can work towards finding one.

I hope that you enjoy our new website design and welcome your feedback. Please contact us with any questions, comments, or suggestions that you might have.
